- According to a psychology study by Chen, the intention of dining hall administrators to adopt more sustainable practices is most influenced by social norms, especially pressures from students and university administrators.

- Using posters like the one to the right could influence students to choose the sustainable options in order to fit in. We could expect these results based on the Tsui towel study.
